Default Best customer service I've had in a long time.

I've been apprenticing electrically for 3 months now, (16 years in air compressors) and use my MC cutters non stop. They locked up the other day and I looked up online how to repair them. Come to find out they have a lifetime warranty less the blades. I emailed asking how to fix and was instructed on how to clean it and oil the shaft. Today I received this in the mail.

Snap, snip and square. Work with MC everyday and I have enough tools.

I have other tools, this is just quick. I love my Klein bx cutters but this just makes it quick and easy.

I have a Greenlee version, but I pretty well only use it if I'm cutting in an entire room of the same size MC and just want to blaze through. The rest of the time I just use my diagonals.

This is what I'm doing. We're building a school. So between the 12/2,12/3 and fire Alarm it's fast.

Yeah, you can't beat a set of BX rippers for doing a huge room full of the same size cable really damn fast.

its been a year for me and i like my seatek splitter too. I like the adjustment and clamp better then the other makes i borrowed so far. Faster then the break and snip when all you are doing is MC all day.

the standard size does up to what the guys on my job call 10-7 (3 ungrounded, 3 grounded and 1 ground) and is nice when dressing in panels.

With the AL sheath MC, I now use tin snips and square the cut off so the red head sits straight.

I don't work with BX-MC too much, but I have the Greenlee version for those jobs that use that on those occasions... it's somewhat of a bulky tool, so I don't carry it all the time,.. I can do the dykes and needle nose way of doing it, but it is more time consuming.. and the proper roto-splitter gives you a perfect cut every time around.

There's something to be said for having the right tool for the job.
