Default Black leatherman

Anyone else have one? I just got a black wave today and it looks sweet. It feels slightly lighter than my other one and I'm thinking the black will wear off. I guess I'll find out as I use it.

Every Leatherman I've ordered I'd be tempted to get in black oxide. I always end up getting the stainless finish. Mainly just cause I wanna be able to find the thing easy if I drop it somewhere dark

I'm probably gonna regret the all black SOG folder I just got for that same reason.

I bought one for my brother this past Christmas. He's afraid the black will wear off too so only pulls it out for show or carries it when he knows he won't really need it and uses his stainless one.

We had a mix of black and silver finish Gerber and SOG multitools issued by the army... the black ones always seemed to go missing the most often, harder to find once laid down...

I've been meaning to paint my multi-tool for a long time... maybe bright pink or orange... but never black...
