Milwaukee M 12 Tools
http://www.milwaukeetool.com/Product...ordless+System
Last year, I picked up the M-Spector camera, with the cordless screwdriver for about $250. Every time I use that camera, it pays for itself. I've used the snot out of that little screwdriver, and found it extremly useful when combined with this:
http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/ac...ategoryID=1491
6 in driver. It has a phillips, straight, #1 and #2 square drive, 1/4 nut driver, 5/16 nut driver, and the tips will interchange with the Klein 10 in 1.
A few months back, I picked up the M12 flashlight, and have found it to be quite handy when crawling through attics. It has a magnet on the back side of the handle for easy attachment to any metal surface.
This week, I picked up the M12 radio, and drill for about $180 bucks, the kit includes 2 batteries and charger, so I now have 4 batteries and 2 chargers (more power, argh, argh, argh). Haven't used the drill yet, but this radio rocks. I needed a replacement for my Dewalt radio (one of the originals, analog tuner, can't tune in any station, yet somehow manages to tune in all of them at the same time). I've been using it just for MP3 player duty lately. The M12 radio is about 20% of the size of the Dewalt radio, and has a compartment on the front for your MP3 player to sit in. Tuner is very good, and sound quality and volume are excellent.
Yes, I still love my Dewalt 18 Volt tools (hammerdrills, sawzalls, flashlight, fluorescent light, vacuum, saw) and no, M12 is not a replacement. But, so far, their light weight, compact size, and price has earned them a place in my van.
Just my 2 cents.

What are some of the interesting uses you've found for the M-Spector camera? I'm interested but not 100% sold on them.

Last week, I was hooking up a fuel pump at a farm. 3000 gallon above ground tank, explosion proof motor inside an explosion proof housing. Nameplate facing the back.
Break out the camera, see the amps, make sure of voltage.
The first job I bought it for was a house rewire. 1920's house, odd framing methods left huge dead spaces on the second floor. I could feed wire from either side, but could not see around the corner to hook the wire.
Out comes the camera, 5 minutes and done.
The side walls of my Ford van are double wall, meaning there is an inner and outer wall. On a bad day, I could not find the 50 amp twist lock plug I needed for a job. I put it in here, where the heck is it?
Yet again, out comes the camera.
3" conduit, 8,000# tugger, and a broken 1/2" rope. Well, I wonder whats in that pipe (the rope broke at the 90).
This time, I use the camera to show the GC the concrete in the pipe, before I start breaking up the floor.

M 12 series is awesome.
boss had the screwdriver, so i got started buying them. The impact driver beats everything hands down! - No it isn't my 18v dewalt, but it will drive a 3 in deck screw, tho thats its limit. But it does wonders on fasteners, and is light enought to be carried in your bags and forget its there. Ok it's really hard to forget it when its used too much
For anything 1 in emt and less the hackzall cordless sawzall is the bomb.
I want to get one of the cameras.

The m12 series brought me back to Milwaukee. Love all the tools and am looking forward to getting the new longer running batteries. But I honestly cant say that the camera has really bailed me out of a tight situation yet. It doesn't really reach far enough to be of real value to me. I still use my good old fashion mirrors and flashlights. And I really want to get the smaller radio to replace my gargantuan Milwaukee radio. The little screw gun is probably my favorite tool to date.

I have the sawzall, impact driver, screw gun, led flashlight and just purchased the radio. I like all of the tools, but the sawzall is my favorite. I am still debating whether or not to buy the camera.

I took that little radio with me this week on vacation. I was going to a cabin where there is limited access to anything. It picked as many stations as the car stereo, but was far easier to keep inside . The sound from the little radio is very impressive. You would expect it to sound "small" and "tinny", but it really is "full". Plenty of volume, plenty of presets, and a very thoughtful item-mute, so you don't have to fight with the volume down button when the boss walks in.

I too have been a DeWalt man. I bought the Milwaukee camera/driver combo a while back . Happy with both of them. I need to think about adding the extension. The only issue that I have with the camera is orientation. Up/down/left right/????????

Curious if the tubing cutter for copper cuts other stuff such as EMT?
