Default Probably 2 easy questions, but Im clueless!

Im supposed to answer some questions as part of a work sheet Im doing and I just cant find the information anywhere! Im new to electrical stuff and Im still studying an electrical course before I try to get an apprenticeship so I dont really know anything.

Anyway, the questions are:
1. What is the special feature incorporated into a telecom splice?
2. Explain how a nylon gland prevents stress from being applied to the termination of a flexible cord?

Thanks guys

We generally don't answer 'homework' questions, but can guide you toward the answer.

Perhaps if you posted what you think the answers are, and why.

I have two suggestions for you:

1. Pay more attention in class
2. If your not going to pay attention in class, learn how to type "google"
