Well to be honest I've never seen one except in a catalog...and my company doesn't order them either. Next time I'm at the supply place I'll see if they have them. We have Hubbell Banana Boxes but they still require you to BYON

BS,,,,if the ceiling is wavvy,,,,,you'll get the same result as a wavvy floor. The professional way to do it is use a laser.

i haven't done the hammer method for a long time. The job I'm doing now is going to have all recepts in the baseboard which is a huge pain because the gc didn't give me samples. Apparently there are a number of different types of baseboards being installed in the house so I'm not able to get a proper elevation throughout. So, I'm roughing in all the receps on the bottom plate with plenty of slack, after inspection all the boxes are coming out, sheetrock gets cut, baseboards get cut and my nm get stubbed out. Then I have to use cut-in boxes, splice, install. Four story house. Yeah, fun.
And every switch box is installed at 49" 3/4" to the center.
Oh, and that box installer looks lame.
Cut a piece of 1/2 emt and put your elevations on that in a new house.
Snap a chalk line or use a laser if you cant use your tape in a remod.
