after 10 years... $0 in "direct" advertising.. now we do spend a few grand a year on promo items (hats, knives, pens, coffee mugs etc...)

Yeah, I've been a referral business for years. I spend only maintenance fees for my website. Use to advertise in the Yellow Pages before the internet took over.

Our marketing budget is 10% of revenue. By the end of las year it was close to 12% which is VERY aggressive because we added more programs. Now it is 8% of ytd revenue and I hope to keep it there and work harder on the bottom line.

$800 or so but we dabble in a lot getting rid of what does not produce so this number goes up and down a lot. Is just an average since a bunch of the ads are prepaid.

At the moment we have 3 jmen, 2 apprentices and Jim who still runs some calls and jobs. We are tracking to do about 1.2m this year if we survive (kidding). We just added the 3rd jman because we are doing a 4 story hotel rewire that will tie us up for awhile and other work is backing up ( a good thing sort of).
