At first I thought you were full of crap on your service calc, but from the information you gave, and what I could dig up on the, mine came to 235A. That seems absolutely insane for a 3000 sq ft house. Are they really using electric heating elements in the heat pumps? Why the 2 water heaters? Is there an instant for the upstairs and an instant for the downstairs or something? Just seems crazy.

My load calculation total, taking almost everything you said into consideration I have a total of 47,500 va. Even at 100% without any deductions I have a 197amps.

Re: minimizing the service to 200amps will reduce your bid by at least $5000. Less then your competition.

Always bid minimum and then upsell. 200 amp service, #14 wire, generic hi hats and fixtures.
