I will be purchasing a system very shortly for the shop. In the past two months, I've had apickup load of scrap wire stolen, a 28 ft fiberglass ladder, batteries, chargers, fishing poles, and that's just what I've noticed.

Revo
I use Revo America
http://www.revoamerica.com/
I have 8 camera's surrounding my shop. I can view it online real time as well. I have several motion detected spy camera's as well. They are disguised as smoke detectors, outlets, etc....
