That's where you're on a construction job and your helper shows up late (again) and you have to extract your foot from his a$$.

No. I'm busy enough being the best electrician in the universe. I have no time to be the president.

Ugghhh it's gone political......
Sorry but you guys are absolutely out of your tree if you think the previous presidential election results have any significant impact on the present state of the construction industry, the results of that election are so insignificant relative to the current jobs data posted above.......you can however, blame the banks, the corporations, the lobbyists, wall street, ourselves and most of all all of our polititians.....yep, every last one of them, regardless of what catroonish colored animal or news source you choose to give a piece of your soul to.

OK.. back on topic
I head today some pencil neck in Washington said the recession is over and we are on the rebound
I believe it took us (10) years to get in this mess and will take at least (5) to get out.
All the people who had a job watching out for us, failed miserably
The dominoes started falling and not one was left standing when the dust settled.
Just hang on and maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is not a city bus

I don't mean to offend you, but this is the exact mentallity that got this country in the position it has been in the last few months/years. People need to take responsibility for themselves. It is no ones responsibility to take care of you and fix your mistakes, except you. This sense of entitlement b.s. really pisses me off.

I blame the people who live on the other side of the tracks. And the ones who sneak in and work for less than peanuts. This whole damn universe has gone so politically correct, nobody is allowed to think about it , much less speak up. But my friends, it is absolutely true, no doubt about it. The "Great Society" turned into a bowl of crap.
