American Flag being defaced. appalling.
US Flag Code: “The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.”
I don't like to talk politics, especially on a electical forum, but this is the Off Topic section, and this is a topic that people need to see.
This Obamamania is going WAAAY Overboard.

Does this actually suprise you? You are talking about the inaguration of a guy that spent $1,000,000 too pay attornies to make sure he didn't have to spend $12.50 to get a copy of his real birth certificate.
Guess what the next 4 years are going to be like as well.

Yup, they sure are........ 150 million dollar inaguration on a 50 million dollar inaguration budget.
The people will get what they voted for with this one for sure.
"Change", which is all that will be left in your pocket in 4 years

Flag MODIFICATIONS has been going on since the 60's. It is what it is, I am sure they knew NOTHING about what they did only trying to PARTY ON.
Major expenses for this party and the money could been better spent much less the carbon foot print. The cost spent by taxpayers is a small portion of monies lost due to how commerce is affected in DC. Oh and Bush was lambasted for spending so much on a party 4 years ago.
I had an emergency call in the heart of the ceremonies yesterday. I swore I would not go withing 30 miles of DC and their I was in the midst of the party. I worked 22 hours straight fairly decent job and lost all the cash on they way home as I fell asleep at the wheel and wasted my truck.

Even while hoping it is only material damage and not any more than that, it can still be depressing. Many of us have done that. Wishing you well.
