Just came back from what might be the best movie I have seen in a long time. My two boys loved it and even the wife. The nerd in me is on cloud nine. Avengers is a great movie. It was extremely funny. The audience laughed through out the movie. It brought back the feeling from the first time I seen star wars. Not saying it better or as good but it's been along time since I been to a movie the crowd cheered at the end. My boys can't stop saying remember when. Great fun.

How old are your kids? Mine's 8 but I've been pumping him full of nerd flicks since he was old enough to comprehend what a TV screen is and what you do with it. He watched Alien when he was 4 and had nightmares for a week probably bad parenting on my part but eh, he survived.

I will wait until its on TV. No movie is worth paying for, unless it's $3.99 pay per view. Or even better, free.
Movies like this are a dime a dozen and will be on DirectV in short order.
I am not a movie fan. Have not been in a theater in 25-30 years and have not watched a single movie that I can remember.

In my case I don't remember hardly a single movie in 25-30 yrs that was memorable.... But I remember all of Holy Grail and Dr. Strangelove.

You just gave me a great idea for something to do today. I've had two free tickets to the local cinema for awhile now and someone else last night was telling me it was a good movie. I just hope it's not a let down like the new 'Conan the Barbarian' was. I wanted my money back after that.
Think I'll see if my wife wants to do that today.
I gave you a thanks for a good idea for boredom cure.

" Dr. Strangelove."
A great movie, I have a copy of it, but I saw it when it first came out on the big screen.
I am a Peter Sellers fan.
Have you ever seen " The Party? "
Or any of the Inspector Clouseau movies ?
Peter Sellers, one of the funniest guys ever.
I remember listening to him on a radio show, called The Goon Show.
This was in England!
This is a good chance for members to list their favorite comedians!
Who is your favorite comedian, or comic actor ?

I love movies. Usually a bit more obscure ones, but I'm still a sucker for a popcorn flick.

Speaking of animation, I would really enjoy getting it on with Jessica Rabbit.

DUDE just went and saw it. Totally badass movie. Joss Whedon is a nerd god for good reason.

Took a couple of my grandkids to see it over the weekend. I'm not really sure who enjoyed it more them or me. This is something that has to be seen on the big screen to be appreciated.

Think I'm going to take my godchild to see it this weekend. I'm not a hulk fan and was wondering why they would put him in it after the last two hulk movies. The hulk makes the movie in my option. The Thor and hulk stuff was the best.
