Not exactly a "metal" band, but AC-DC's "Powerrage" was nothing but rock.

Kicked in the teeth again..........

Let's see, there were far better bands in the 80's then Dio and Poision.

Slayer
Testament
Anthrax
Megadeth
Metallica (pre- black album)
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Motorhead
Pantera

Just to name a few.

In 89 I was in a hair metal band in L.A. playing the strip, never got signed, but had one hell of a good time.

Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name

FWIW, my 1st concert was Ozzy, with Motley Crue opening. (Bark at the moon/ Shout at the devil tour)

I'm glad the Crue made the list ( late but they made it). I'd have to say Priest. They're great. Just ask them.

I'm serious. In my opinion, Blackie Lawless is like a home run hitter with his albums. He either strikes out swinging or hits a home run. Theres been some great albums put out by WASP over the years. As Celtic mentioned, KFD is one of them. I would also recommend there latest album, Dominator. Heres one of the songs off that album.

I never realized how corny the lyrics to Holy Diver were until I sang it one night at Karaoke. The video was even cornier - Ronnie James Dio playing real life Dungeons and Dragons.

Great song though.

AC/DC is in a class all their own, fantastic lyrics, great concerts, and attitudes.

Cinderella - the hair didn't get any bigger, and the music wasn't half bad.

Both notable groups. Ever think in '69' the Stones would still be touring in 2000 ? or that Keith Richards would still be alive??? He has to be well over 100 in drug years.
