One funny thing about being in the aisles is that the customers do not know or care that you are an electrician. When they would come in for something that their friend (who is not an electrician but knows a little about it) said to get, which would be wrong and you try to tell them the right item, they would always get what their friend said to get. After that a couple of times I would just give them what they asked for.

Nothing wrong with working at a big box store if you can stand the customers. I'm sure I'd go nucular on one of them and get fired. LOL!

My experience of box stores is slightly biased towards Lowes, my local one has smart knowledgeable staff who don't pester you every 10 seconds when you walk through the store.
