Default Gas Prices....

With today's gas prices, I was curious as to what you fella's are driving and if the gas prices are affecting you? I drive a 2002 Grand Prix GTP that takes Premium Gas. I get about 22miles/gal and gas prices by my house are about $3.30 regular and $3.60 for premium gas.

I recently gave my old Subara Impreza to my son and my Mom gave me her Toyota Avalon (nice car btw!). It gets about the same 22 mpg as the Subaru did. Regular self serve gas near Baltimore is about $3.25 now.

2002 Dodge Dakota. 2wd V6, and get this, it gets a whopping 14 MPG! It used to get 15mpg but I put bigger tires on it and it dropped a tad. 88 octane runs about $3.20 here in Charlotte.

I drive an Avalon as well. But I seem to get better gas mileage, around 25 or so, unless I'm on a trip, when I get 28+

I've just inherited this from mom and I'm doing some catch up maintenance and tune up now (emissions test by 4/10); on the hwy if I behave myself I approach 25mpg but most of my use is surface roads in stop and go.
We'll see.

This is my 3rd Toyota and it rides real well as a granny transporter; if I get caught up on my other work around here I should my new to me Gold Wing running by May 1... then the fun starts.

Many Vehicles
F150 17 MPG
VW Passat in town 15 mpg-hiway 35 mpg
VW Touareg 17 mpg
International 1510 (1 ton) 4 mpg
Log skidder...It doesn't go fast enough to get mpg and it's more like logs per gallon.

Sure Leland remembers I drive a BMW!!. I pay £3 - 98 ($7 - 64) for an 8 pint UK gallon. Works out at 13.7p per mile (26c)

My works van is slightly more expensive but uses deisel.

Thinking of buying a horse and cart like my grandad used to have. Left over fuel came in handy too.

Up to 3.45 now for regular here. Have been hearing from the transportation authority that it's going to get up to 4.00 this summer.

$3.55 in east central Florida yesterday.

Lately the price of rice has been in the news, now looms the flour shortage . . . Soon we will be able to get a gallon and a loaf for only $8 USD.

Best Wishes Everyone
