Default Hurricane Ida

Why am I looking at a hurricane tracking map in November. This sucks - if these idiots impose a forced evacuation I will throw a fit.

Oh yes indeed. Voluntary evacuations outside of levee protection in my parish.

I am going to throw up. We are under an inland tropical storm watch until tue 6 pm . Its a cat 2 at the moment. If it takes its projected path it will hit Mobile Alabama. The Television is telling me to Obey All Evacuation Orders. Thanks Nagin and Blanco for f ing this up so bad that I get full blown martial law everytime we have a tropical storm.

Bah, we'll be fine.

At the worst, we can head over to the West Bank's Levee Board disaster shelter I helped renovate last summer right before Gustav, it's a good 12 feet off the ground, with back up diesel generators, bunks, bathrooms, kitchen and emergency communications room.

Dont matter how bad it is if its in the gulf the idiots in charge have a mandatory evac policy. While I wont leave if it is not bad, I cant leave my home or I get arrested.
