No, my insurance agent knows that. I do work at both his house and office.

Yeah, I understand that. But that has nothing to do with the insurance coverage. If it is a business vehicle, it HAS to have commercial coverage. It doesn't matter if you give your kids a ride to school or if you drop the president off at the white house each morning! The insurance agent is a hack!

Anyone ever come across this before..

Should you have your company vehicle on your commercial policy?

The tools are covered by my business liability policy the vehicle insurance is just vehicle insurance it does not matter here you must have commercial plates here and pay $200 every Christmas day to renew them for the next year.

The Car insurance laws vary from state to state.

Get a competitive quote. My commercial coverage is barely more than my personal.

Commercial plates.. but after reading through this thread.. I am going to get the commercial policy..

It would be my luck to get into an accident and run into problems about how I have my truck listed..

I will just pass on the costs to everyone else..

Every state has different rules but shop around and make sure you are getting your moneys worth.

Doesn't matter, you are using the vehicle for commercial purposes so you need commercial insurance.
