I put this on the other forum as well.

Has anyone heard from the people that went over there to do electrical work? They said they would be posting on here when they were settled in. Hoping all is well.

Based on what happened with the company that has that massive contract to do the electrical and other work....I'd say they are too busy fixing all that horrible work that was done.

Talking Inspecting in Iraq

Well I haven't posted in awhile, been pretty busy, but thought I would take a minute to update everyone.

I have been working in Iraq now for about 6 weeks performing inspections as a part of Task Force SAFE. It is quite a task we are performing, conducting inspections of all facilities on every US base in-country, but we are making great progress thus far. It is a great feeling to see that we are making a difference concerning the safety of our troops on the ground.

It is obviously tough being away from the family, but this is a very important mission we are performing over here, and I truly believe we are saving lives with the work we are doing! .

The military is very appreciative of the work we are performing, and so far my experience with the current contractor has been 100% positive. We are getting deficiencies corrected that are making the electrical systems safer for the end users, and that should be the goal of everyone involved. I know there has been some back and forth on this subject here in the past, but my experience has been positive and very productive so far, and I just wanted to shed some of that positive light on the subject!

Funny you should ask;

**See above post**

I guess I should have looked here before I posted!

Things are going well...and yes we have been EXTREMELY busy, but we are making great progress. You can't believe the sense of pride that comes from knowing that you are making such a difference for the safety of the troops.

Rick, I merged the threads so we don't have two going at the same time.
Thanks for posting.
