Default Is it just me or does anyone else have issues with there work partner

I have been working at factorys as an electrician/ programer for 11 years. I took a new job for a company that has one other electricain He has been here for 5 or 6 years but has been a construction electricain for 30 some years. He blows me away when I see him work on big conduit runs, he is good with relay logic and older stuff but knows nothing of plc or hmi stuff. So we complament each other very well other then the fact he thinks he knows everything. I try to go with the flow but it is hard to work with a person like this.

Just ranting.

Bro, I feel your pain.... I started where I'm at now and it was me and the guy who is now our division electrical eng. When he got the eng. gig, they left his position as chief elec. unfilled(would have been nice to get the pay raise) and hired one of the eng's friends as the new guy. New guy is older than me by about 10 years. His background is mainly refrig. but he knows a good deal about industrial too. I have more controls background than him and a better all around electrical base. Because he is older and neither of us is "in charge" we butt heads all the time. He will pull crap out of old decommed equipment and hang on to it because"we might need it" he is a tinkerer and pretty much a hack but I'm stuck with him for the time being.....
