Great idea.. the orange lift looks like it is ready to fall over.. I would hate to be up there working at that angle..

There comes a time when people who volunteer their service need to step back and see if it is better for them to retire. A red flag is when they become "cranky" and lose all sense of reality by making decisions that really don't make any sense..

I think it's the cell phone picture warping it. It stands straight but it was pretty windy...

Before you went up in the lifts, did you ask the kids "Who wants to see us get high?" 
I think that this was a great idea for you to do this. If it makes just one of those kids interested in becoming an electrician when they get older, it was well worth it. Even if it doesn't, it was still a great idea.
