Pteromerhanophobia
Not the normal type
the kind that isn't rational, one can rationalize, or mitigate
we all have some level of these, arachnophobia, cynophobia, mysophobia
it's simply how to deal with it that's my lot
last time i flew, the friend that talked me into it got me so snotty drunk, he had to lead me by the nose to my seat
now what? bite stick? lithium? open bar?

Take the train. I'm not afraid of flying, I just hate doing it.

I've never flown but besides the hassle, I don't see what's wrong with it.

Medication
While you should always follow your doctor’s advice with medications, we are generally not in favor of using drugs.
They may produce a short-term improvement by masking symptoms, but never tackle the core problem of the overwhelming automatic fear response to flying.

I'm outta here tommorrow, southwest to Ocala, rescue mission with two friends
no drugs, that's not me, just seated bettween the two yammering .....
