Daughters name is an awsome idea, my friend just got his sons foot prints on his chest. As for the chevy logo, I can't speak for your love of the brand but if you always have and always will go for it if its what you want.

I'm pierced and inked and proud of it,
This is what happens when your a 18 year old computer science major
And Bonus points if you know what this means

Now that you mention it, I don't think I have really seen anyone over maybe 35 with a face tattoo, so maybe their life expectancy isn't so good. Could be ink seepage to the brain or something.

I have a chevy bowtie on my uppr right arm filled in with a waving American flag, and I have Mr. Horsepower on my upper left arm. I also own a 69 chevelle SS. After my wife and girls, my two biggest passions in life are my chevys and my bicycles, both of which are very fast

As I have some free time this week so far, I just went and got a back piece done. I spent three hours getting the center part done, a nice version of death.

Two.

Left bicep/upper arm a roman numeral IX

Between my shoulder blades i have sanskrit Om between Japanese "Eien" or eternity.

Kanji tat's are dumb, i know, but the difference for me is, i calligraphed and designed the tat myself, and read speak and write japanese so it kind of is a part of who i be.

In the US more money is spent on removing tatoos than having them put on. I guess a few folks had second thoughts.

i dont know man....i know dudes that have dropped SOOOO much money in ink...but i guess the laser removal procedure or whatever is pretty expensive. People who get tattoos of names of wives (except for children), Cartoon characters, neck/face(unless your tribal) tats, and barbed wire will regret it someday.
IMHO

But it is NOT innately a bad idea to get a tattoo. It's a bad idea to smoke cigarettes. It's a bad idea to smoke crack cocaine. But getting a tattoo will not kill you.
