Conspiracy or not, it was a complete waste of OUR human lives. I'm so sick of trying to impose our will and lifestyle on people that are, always have been and always will be savages. Either do it and mean it (turn that whole place to dust) or let them come home.

If things are exactly what the government has told us, why did they hide the body so quickly?

The excuse that 'showing the body off' would upset Muslims seems a bit of a stretch. I think shooting their guy in the head would have already upset them. And it's not like they had to take the body on a world tour, but they could have let independent witnesses have access to the body.

There is something very fishy going on.

It was a covert operation, in a middle east country, that the United States DID NOT have permission to be in! Muslims have to be laid to rest within 24 hours of death, but you keep drinking the pineapple koolaid !!

Agreed.

So we had no problem letting the world know we broke those rules so we could go and basically execute the guy.

We had no problem shooting him in the head (and I don't have a problem with that) but suddenly we are 'so very concerned' that he be honored by being buried within the 24 hours that we let no independent people verify the story.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

I drink no ones cool aid, but the actions made so far are suspect at best and deserve more than just a passive brush off.

The only way a renal failure patient such as the person in question could have possibly made it another 11 years is with kidney transplants and high end medical care, all pretty much lacking when you live in a hovel and a cave. I'm sorry if you wan't to paint me as wearing a tin foil hat. I just deal in strict hard realities, its impossible for a certified dialysis patient to live that long without proper medical care, and Osama Bin Laden was on dialysis before 9-11.

Ok, help me out here. I'm glad he's dead and not in any way disputing your views. I just want to know why "they" would keep reporting him as alive all these years. I mean why do you think that. Just trying to keep up. I've not heard this conspiracy theory. I have often wondered how he could have survived the initial attacks in Afgan.

The Soviet Union used to be our boogey man. Al Qaida is the replacement.

Wasn't it a lovely show the day they announced how they got him? And they only changed all the details of the "raid" forty times. Great way to boost the ratings.

So they had a reason to give us for keeping war going would be my first guess.
