Cache valley is sometimes refered to as Bridgerland, due to the fact the Jim Bridger discovered it. The local technical college is named Bridgerland Applied technology College (BATC) that is where I teach the electrical apprenticship course. I also teach continuing education for electricians.
I know Theo very well, he is a hell of a good guy. I almost went to work for him about 4 years ago. I too looked into going to work for Cache Valley Electric, but I didn't want to have to travel as much as they wanted me to.

Let me guess, it was the Mantua cop that ticketed you . He has ticketed almost everyone in Cache Vally at one time or another.

Wow, if you did work for him I might have met you, seeing as that was '03 when I was up there, though I was a first year apprentice and just kept my head down and did my work. The school I was working on was under Kerry Baxter as foreman, and my JW was Bruce Anderson.
I liked being up there in Logan, such a secluded city that it seemed everyone knew eachother. My company's owner, Bob May, also is good friends with Theo, and my teacher right now Mike Sexon is from up that way, from a town he describes as being populated though only 4 prominent family names live there, can you imagine that in Utah, ha-ha.
I overheard in school this month that Theos' son-in-law Braden started his own shop, don't know if I heard right, but I worked with Braden side by side a couple times and he seemed to be a real sharp guy for a hick, ha.
-Joe
Oh and it was the Mantua cop, I've heard people talking about him. Cost me a days wages, so after that I slowed down.

Oh and while I was up there I heard stories of a wal-mart in Brigham, that keeps the beer in some odd part of the store because that part of the store is in a different county so they can sell beer on Sundays.......
Or something like that, have you heard that story? I only bring it up because drinkin beer is another of my hobbies

I haven't heard that story but I wouldn't be suprised if it were true .
Drinking beer is also one of my hobbies . If you ever go to the free IAEI training seminars in SLC find me and will have a beer. I sit on the board of directors for the Utah Chapter of the IAEI.

I know them both pretty well, Bruce worked with me at Logan Electric for a couple of years and I have dealt with Kerry from time to time.

JC, spend a lot of time with them. It seems all too quickly they grow up and are gone. One day it was instructional softball and then the next it was her graduating college and getting married!

It's a small world isn't it,
Funny how you seem to find people you know once the stories come out.

Wiggins Lake Fishing Tourney
Coldest day fishing I can remember!
8am to 5pm tourney. Stuck her out the whole day. Not bad in the portable shanty, but not to much moving around. we set up shop and never punched another hole! 4 flags on tip-ups got us 2 pike just shy of the legal limit of 24". We put 12 Perch in the freezer.
Largest fish went for a pike of 24 3/4".

It would be real nice to check it out, to expand my experience and all.
I have school that week at the hall on 21st S and 3200W, though since it's Valentine's day my girlfriend works on 5600W and 21st, so maybe I'll head by that way while popping in to surprise her at work. She would really like that, showing me off to her coworkers

Hi.
Fixing old radios. I have a collection of some 400, Mostly 30's Cathedrals and Tombestones but some 150 or so All American 5's.
Started collecting USA sets in the early 80's. Member of the British Vintage Radio Society and have a WEb site www.Nostalgicvintageradio.com Like trips to the coast (Just 1 hour away) and generally just mooching around.
But the most time consuming job I have is keeping the garage straight. Can't seem to get out of the habit of opening the garage door and puttings things straight in front instead of right at the back!!!!!!

Thanks for the comments guys... Bikes are my thing, however I like to dabble in photography when I have a chance. Photo was taken at the Crater lake National Park when I passed through last June.
That is by far my favorite picture from the trip but i managed to get some decent ones in Cali and at the Grand Canyon as well.

I like the shot with the helmet. Great perspective!
I remember my Arai street helmet. I LOVED that thing. Sooooo comfortable.
If I remember correctly it was an F1 racer replica, Kevin Schwantz Edition. Uh-oh, now I am dating myself.
