Please clarify your comments Paul, what are you getting at?
Talk about asphalt, I still have some in my scraped knee when I hit the street after trying to stop my Harley when the truck in front of me had no stop lights!

There's a lot to be said for the old styling... especially for old farts.

There is at least (1) person killed per week here on Long Island and I don't know how many serious injuries.
People have enough trouble spotting (2) headlights coming at them.
Cars making a left hand turns seems to be the killer for people with (1) headlight
Only safe way to enjoy the sport is to ride in a pack

Usually it refers to an incident in which a person overpays for something.. whether or not something is a ripoff, on the other hand, is in the eye of the beholder. (the guys on this forum who don't see a problem) Example.. Paying $6450.00 for a simple 150A service change, which is 4X the going rate

Very Nice!!! I would definately have to repaint it....I don't like RED anything!!!
I have always had liking for Indians and HD's.
If I get the $$$ I want a Custom built some time in the future.

Depends on what kinda ridin your into. I have an 05 1200 sportster. All around good ride, comfortable enough to cruise, fast enough to make you grin real wide. The Indian sure is pertty but i think your gonna find out what sticker shock really means. 2000ish Honda shadows are CHEAP and bullitproof. Depends on what you wanna spend, and what your gonna do with it.

When I was kid, a friend and his dad put a motorcycle engine on one of these. I think it was a Honda 160 they used. I think.
That thing was scary, and real loud. They had straight pipes on it.
