Owner, McCain ,I am from western pennsylvania ,John Murtha says I am a biggot and red neck. Obama says I cling to my religion and gun, and is going to tax coal fired power houses with carbon emissions out of business, wonder why obama lost in my county.
Unfortunately There are more people in the southeast corner and allegheny and erie county than the rest of the state, it affects alot of political decisons.

LAst night I was channel surfing and saw Bill Marr on TV in an interview he said that the bigots of this country that were not smart enough to realize, Obama was the only way.........
Why can't a person vote the way they feel fits their vision without being a bigot, people of the far right or far left are the the real issue IMO. They feel it is their way or the highway

Regardless of who is elected, who they appoint, what party controls this, that or the other body of government one fact remains the same:
Most politicians' actions are based solely on personal gain. Put into similar situations, where the power and influence of our job would allow us to "bend" the rules in our favor, and where it is considered common and acceptable practice, who among us wouldn't do the same things? And it is considered acceptable by the American public; it must be as Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens may well be re-elected even after being convicted of 7 counts of failing to report gifts.
Anyone who expects real change at any level at the best naive. Obama's choice of Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff proves that, and in the next couple of months I expect to see more of the same. No one person can affect real change in a flawed, corrupt system.
Who did I vote for, and why?
Sadly, I didn't vote for anyone; I voted against someone else.

I ALSO agree it dosent say much for this country or the system if those were the two best canadates they could come up with.

take a look at your television and at the computer you are reading this on...would you want to run for president with all the BS that the media will put you through? digging into every single nook and cranny of your life...especially if you are not their candidate...
take notice of how the media bashed Pallin, but you never heard anything about Joe Biden. For those of you not from the NE/Mid Atlantic area, do a search on Delaware Senator Joe Biden and see who our new VP really is...
we've created a system where people who should be in charge, have the sense to not get involved...the meek are inheriting the earth...

It was not who I voted for, it was who I voted against, and for that reason my truck keeps the "Obama/Marx '08" sticker.

I wonder how this will really play out. Around 50% of the USA's electricity is derived from coal, I don't see it going away any time soon.

Fact of taxes on business is in the end consumers MUST pay that tax. Businesses are not going to lower profits to pay taxes.

I didn't really care too much for him since he is too liberal for me, but he was much less dangerous than the alternative. I don't want to resemble anything in Europe or anyother place on the planet, and I don't give a damn about the rest of the world liking us. Socialism(giving something to everyone for nothing), Marxism(taking from producers and giving to the non-productive), and Communism(the government makes all deciscions without any input from the people, very similar to the current bunch of bastards in the congress today) are sure failures. There is not one successful country in Europe that compares to the United States. "We all do better when we spread the money around" ???? You have got to be kidding. Obama/Marx '08,,, I love it!
