Sorry Ken, a point is zero-dimensional. A line is one-dimensional. A road is a line, for all intents and purposes.

But..... in order for two-way traffic to flow, it MUST be two-dimensional.

In my day it was called the pollution control valve and went into a charcoal cannister. The mechanics would call for a PCV Valve.

If you're traveling at light speed you don't need headlights.

You end up relying on Jim from Taxi to get your parents back together at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance before your sorry ass fades from existence and misses the lightning bolt at the clock tower.

No, two way traffic flows in opposite directions on the same line. Still just one-dimensional. OF COURSE the actual surface of the road is two-dimensional allowing lanes to exist side-by-side, but that is not the dimensionality we are talking about as far as traffic goes.

Cars can only go up or down a street in one dimension, not counting lane changes. And people have plenty hard time grasping that set of skills. We'd have mid-air collisions and morons falling from the sky all over the place if we gave them jet packs.

They will work. The speed of light is a constant for all inertial frames of reference.

If you're going from point A to point B on a one-dimension 1 Highway, and I'm going from point B to point A on the same road, we're gonna die in a head-on collision.
