Cash, change, debit cards, credit cards, food stamps, heck the ones I deal with will probably accept wampum and casino chips.

It's funny you mentioned that, just the other day I was saying to myself how weird it is that I could put paper money into the self checkout super fast without it giving me any problem, yet the soda machine just wouldn't take my crisp dollar for some odd reason

I will admit to using the self checkout at Lowes. At least I know what I am buying and don't need to call back to find out the difference between plywood and a 2x4.

Glad to see someone has luck with the money acceptors in the machines. Don't try to pay with a stack of one's, especially if they are wrinkled. It seems to take forever. At least a real person can make change faster by counting a stack of bills instead of one at a time. Or I don't have to wait for someone to bring over unwrinkled bill so the machine will accept them.

How long did you live in a TOOL CRIB before you moved out?

I thought it was just me:

I only pump my own gas out of state where there are no attendants.

I don't even have an ATM or debit card.

I can wait for a movie to come out on dvd or demand.

I also have hot and cold hose bibbs on both sides of the house.

I think you are talking about Barbara Bermudo... But the best looking one is the one that does the weather Jackie Guerrido she is married to Don Omar (a popular spanish music similar to Daddy Yankee)... Madre de Dios she is F I N E .... I would bang that sh!t up all night LMAO

The one in Blue is Barbara Bermudo

The one in the bikini is Guerrido the weather girl

The only thing I love about Spanish TV is the woman other than that it sucks BIG TIME... If you guys get a chance watch Sabado Gigante it airs on Saturdays around 7pm its got some nice azs on there also Caliente or Que Locura those shows come on Univision

Back to OP... Work ethics is A MUST in any work enviroment if you cant be professional and do your job right and behave pretty much like you would at church you need to rearrange your priorities... America is one of the only countries where I have seen that people do all kinds of crap at work and never get in trouble and if they do they have a sh!t load of loop holes to get away with stuff that is not even funny.... Here if you do something stupid. 1st time you get a verbal warning...2nd time written warning...3rd time final warning.... 4th time suspension... 5th time firing... and even if you get fired you can get a union to get your job back and if that doesnt do the trick you can get unemployment..... We should go back to the way that is in some countries, if you fuk up you get fired, you get fired you dont eat... Cut troath approach is the best in my opinion, that is sure to fix all the problems

All the people talking about the self checkouts I bet you aint never bought anything online or movie tickets over the phone on fandago... Or paid a traffic ticket over the phone machine... or sent an email... Emails are cutting back on postal workers... Why send an email when you can send it in the mail.... Why pay a bill online when you can send in the check... Come on people?.... Quick answer: convenience and it gets done a WHOLE lot faster... I dont know if I see it different than some of you do since I am a bit younger than most of you (25)... But I guess we all have to change with times... I know it cuts back on peoples salaries, but think about it which one makes more business sense have a machine do the work or have someone do it and pay them to do it?.. If I owned a business I would try to have as many Self service options as I can but always have a human being there just in case the machine goes down

Oh yeah and of you want something done RIGHT the first time do it yourself

I refuse to use power tools, you know how many men are out of work because power tools were developed. Damn technology!

The small family owned stores are always better with customer service. That's just the way it is. The downside is that prices have a tendency to jump up, and selection has a tendency to go down.

They could give you good customer service because you are the only person in the store because their prices are so high.

I was in StopnShop today and they had (4) new self checking isles that were empty

Watching the empty isles were (2) very bored cashiers
