Default Need help.

We live in Edmonton. We have a daughter 17 who has a physical disability. We unfortunately purchased a "SAFESTEP Walk-In Tub so that we could encourage some independence with Safety. Well the tub they installed has electrical as well as plumbing. The installer has no ticket...nothing! Our daughter has been trapped in this tub as the jets will not shut off and we have had to cut power to our home. My question is; Are there any laws in Alberta? Shouldn't someone who is performing electrical work in your hone (bathroom) have a ticket? When we asked the Installer/plumber/electrcian for his ticket number he refused to produce it.... Or any ticket for that matter. Please help. We have hired a lawyer however do we have any case in regards to the "Electrcian" work they performed?
Thank you so much for considering my question.

I do not know for sure but it is very Likely that they must be licensed and pull permits for the work .... Fix those guys.

Good luck.
