Switchgear/power distribution
How about a Switchgear/power distribution section, I don't think there is anywhere for someone to ask a question on the topic.

We try not to add too many unnecessary child forum areas until a trend in the "general" section becomes clear. Thus far, there doesn't really appear to be any special overwhelming need.

THis site has a full page ad in the recent NETA World magazine, several NETA guys have joined since then, all they deal with is switchgear/power distribution. Where do you expect them to go?

Typical response I have come to expect from you. There is nothing here for NETA guys, just trying to make the site more useful to those it is being advertised to.

As I recall, the sub-forums that were set up after beginning of Electrician Talk, were set up after there was a quantity of threads on the subject.
For instance, the PLC, VFD, etc forum was set up after multiple threads on the subject in the General area. I don't recall very many threads on switchgear...yet.
Perhaps if you start some, a section will develop over time.

I think that you just started it. I would like to ask you about the small transformers that control the GROUND lights at a substation. We just had one go bad and I did not even know they were there. What we found was that when it went bad, the Phase light went off but the other phase lights did not get brighter.
