Why don't we have a For Sale section on this forum????
I would like to see one on here. I know some of you have stuff laying around not being used.

Message Nathan or email him with your suggestion. I think it's a viable thought.

I'd like a for sale section. It ought to be only for people with a certain # of posts to keep out spam and keep the buying and selling for known people.

Not that we couldn't do the same here, but contractor talk has a swap, trade, sell section.

Do we need a separate section? Off Topic seems OK.
However Gilbequick's idea for a minimum post count is good as well.

Maybe just the buy, sell, swap area like contractor talk is good. But I also think the spam limiting factor is a huge plus. I know some other forums have different levels of posters/members (like professional and plain members) but that type of thing requires much extra work on the owner of the site.

One possible problem: Who is going to volunteer to moderate disputes about quality/price after a sale is done?
Or is it going to simply be caveat emptor?

Hey Nathan I just noticed you put a Swap section ..... it say Contractors only? Does that mean someone with a buisness license or sponsor?

No, I was just trying to say no resellers or stores. I just want it to be electrician to electrician.
I'll change the wording now. I copied and pasted it from Contractor Talk. Sorry for the confusion.
