Default Product Question for Electricians

I'm a product manager working on a new product concept around electrical tape. May I open a discussion on electrical tape to ask electricians about their use of electrical tape and concerns about heat?

That sounds interesting. I'd be for it but Cricket is the honcho.

Gnolla,

Welcome to the Forum.

I think it would be fine to ask questions of the members here and take advantage of their experience.

Please do take note of the advertising rules for the site: http://www.electriciantalk.com/faq.p...lk#faq_adrules

Like Gnolla (in post 3 above) I hope to tap the experience of the pros that frequent this site as I continue to develop a new product for the industry. I wanted to PM a member and ask his opinion, but it says I don't have that privilege. Is that because I just signed up yesterday? Is there something I need to do to be able to Private Message someone?

Thanks --

Not sure what a new concept about electrical tape could be but it sounds like a sales pitch.

Just post a time or two more and you should then be able to PM. I think there is a minimum post count required.

We prefer you don't pm members for this. If you start a thread and ask the members if they would be okay with a pm then I see no objection to this.
