Default AZ qualifying party

My current employer lost their QP and has asked me to take over. I have my K-11, what is the going rate for my license? I am an hourly employee and they want to give me money as an adder separate from my base pay. Can anyone out there help me out? Thanks for all your help,

Joe

What do you want to make? There's your price, whether your boss will like it well...

Also for me to do it it would mean more then a pay raise, I'd want to be made a company officer and have a say in things, and the ability to supervise.

I don't think there is a going rate on this one.

A licence isn't difficult to get in AZ so I don't think you will be doubling your salary or anything. would bet that half of the licence holders here are working for someone. Hell, there are licensed guy working at Home Depot for 12 bucks.

First thing you need to do is check with a lawyer on the liabilities of a QP. The more liability, the more you need to be compensated and the more money you will have to pay another lawyer to set up a contract agreement.

If your liabilities are limited you can ask whatever you'd like. At the very minimum I would think you could get a company vehicle, your yearly license fees paid and a couple extra bucks an hour.
