No, my problem is that the fitting is not fancy enough or expensive enough. A 2" kockout bushing is probably only a dollar. We need to dream up some fancy fitting that's at least 20 bucks. Baby needs a new pair of shoes.

that's not a bad looking sleeve!...and by the by, that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine: why can't the data guys knock out their own holes in the wall??? They always used to come to me and say," I need a sleeve...", like some beaten down puppy.

Nah, there's no need for fire stopping fitting, all those romex jammed in there are sure to stop any flame spread

But yeah, if I did the install that way, I would probably pack it with fire caulk or duct seal.
