The HD by me had a "misting fan" on sale for $49.99

Those fans are great for anyone working in the broiling sun

Take another 15% off by submitting that rebate.

Since the Lifetime Service Agreement and this require both original documents, you can submit copies for the LSA and originals for the rebate as per Ridgid.

Make sure you were getting the prices on the Greenlee stuff. The Klein replacements are full price.

FYI, the data stuff was on the corner of an endcap at the rear of the electrical dept away from the current stock of other data stuff. The Greenlee stuff was also on another portion of shelves in a front corner of the dept. away from where you would normally see it. It took me two or three laps to find it all. Careful though, one of the Disco's I picked up looked funny so I slid it out of the sleeve and it was already punched and missing the pullout and cover.

I need a new set of sticks, I like the 12' set because they are 4' when broken down, easier to fit in my truck.

Yeah, you have to do a bit of sleuthing to find everything. Not all the tools are in the tool shrine. Some of it is on endcaps or hanging between the bin locations. Or, some may be in the overhead in boxes and require assistance. Read the descriptions on the boxes and have the clerk check inventory for you if necessary. The stuff is there for the determined tool hound.

Also, it never hurts to ask for a deal from the manager if need be.

Rt. 70 Location. No sticks on sale there though, I looked.

For those looking for sticks, there should be two distinct places they should be that are easily accessible.

One is by the datacomm stuff. It is between the bays on a special display. There is also a Klein display that looks exactly like this, so there might be two there.

The other is by the fish tapes, left hand side of the display.

The stuff can and will be mixed in with the Klein.

If they're in the overhead, they're in a very distinct box. They're in long, cylindrical tubes in the overhead that cannot be mistaken for anything else but boxes containing sticks. The tubes are just like those you'd use to mail a poster in.

As for the datacomm stuff (crimper, punchdown, compression), they should be hanging between bays. It's all Ideal stuff. They may also have some massively reduced connectors. In the Smithtown store, they had 50 packs of RG6U Hex Crimp connectors for ~$7.

Ask the guys in the department if they have a clearance section in the store. They may have moved them there.

Who needs more than 1 punchdown tool? And what exactly is it's name, other than "The punchdown tool?"

I only bought the other one because it was $1, can't beat that.

I think the real name for the punchdown tool is a 110 Punchdown tool, or 110/66 Punchdown tool.

Maybe you've got a LOT of punchdown to do.

Nothing on sale here in SC. Home Depot. The associate said there were no plans to pull any Klein tools. He was stocking some Klein stuff when I was talking to him.

They're clearing out Greenlee, not Klein.

Default 15% off Li-Ion Power Drill

Bring any broken drill to the HD service desk and get a 15% off coupon towards any new Li-Ion drill. I didn't have a drill with me so I just said why do you want a broken drill and they shrugged and gave a coupon anyway.
I got a Makita BHP454 18V LXT Li-Ion 1/2" Hammer Drill set for $237. Specs say that the drill's max torque is 560 in-lb versus the usual 450 that all other LXT drills provide.
