Default breaker issues

I have hottub that keeps triping breaker, dis cover that there was water in that conduit so replace conduit, breaker take wire,no help. but whenever I install extension card it works fine. hot tub is on it's own 20a breaker.there is 30 feet of wire from subpanel to junction box that I can probably change and outlet at tub. any one has any ideas what next move should be. Thanks a million

I don't think I've ever seen a hot tub take a 20a breaker, the only ones I've worked with take 50A DP GFCI breakers. Is this for a whirlpool tub inside the house?
