Default can a 200 mA speed control motor overload?

halu, this is my first post..
i have some concerns regarding speed control gear motor..
i will be using 4 speed control motors on a certain machine with the ff. rating:
25 W, 220 V, sinlge-phase.
these motors will be use in a conveyor system for the inspection of o-ring (nominal diameter of 10mm & thickness of 1mm)..
also these motors have individual speed controller having only two outputs, forward & reverse..
is it necessary for me to connect magnetic contactor & overload relay for these motors with the stated application above?
any answers will be greatly appreciated..

What kind of motor can drive a conveyor and only draw 200 milli amps? Are you talking about a frequency drive or soft start ? If you are asking if you need a motor starter as well as a drive the answer is no, but that doesnt mean you cant use one somewhere in the line.
