Are you an electrician? Because this forum is for electricians. You can ask at diychatroom though and they might not give you nearly as much of a crap storm as you are about to get.

Uh what does rewire for a light mean? You want 2 switches? Want to add a light kit? Google electrician and your area code. Find a competent electrician.

That can only be done with a Rockwell Automation Retroencabulator.

RTFM that came with the light kit, if that goes over your head call an electrician.

The last time I installed one of these, it blew out the fetzer valve, and I had to buy an Eddie current reverser to fix the problem. Be careful

The eddie current reverser comes standard on the rockwell now. You just need a defrakker in line with the blue wire.

When was the last time you changed the batteries in your smoke detector?

Is that the defrakker LS or LTS model?

Stand directly below the ceiling box which you would like to use, and then in one smooth, but forceful movement, throw the fan at the chosen box.

It is recommended that you be able to move quickly if it does not take the first time.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

This is highly "NOT" recommended, and you should contact a local reputable Electrician.

Well, you guys must be using Encabulate 3.2.8 or lower. Encabulate 4.1.1 is out now, and contains a patch to correct all those problems.

Of course, you will need to upgrade the Fingleman Dinglers that are attached to the Bollstien Blits, but that can be done easily with a good set of metric sockets.

Easy? Why not?!?!!?

It's far easier to replace the Fingleman Dinglers.... they're just inside the prefabricated amulite covers. Four bolts, and you're there. I changed mine out in about 2 hours.

Have you ever tried to install an Eddie current reverser? Cripes, the installation manual alone is 68 pages, not including all the obligatory safety crap.

And don't get me started on Defrakkers. Those things were junk ever since the manufacturing was outsourced to China in '98.
