I usually run a 3-wire for motion lights too but I put in the Rab Gotcha!'s. It might be time to move up and go with the Stealth.

I stopped running 3 wire for motion sensors in the mid 90's. They all have the double flip override , if a consumer can't comprehend that ,they likely have no business behind the wheel .

Light needs a ladder to get to.

How about the switch at 48" level that controls it, or is it a direct feed ?

I made an exception a couple of years ago to a very nice elderly lady who is on a fixed income and really couldn't afford the RABs. I picked-up 3 Heath Zenith units @ the big blue box instead. Within the following couple of months, I had to replace 2 of them! Lesson learned!
I keep all the Rab boxes with receipts in them. It comes with a 5yr warranty.
I return the old one and receive new one.

The switch was the whole point of the thread.

Sorry. I've done those direct feeds myself in the past for cheap customers. Time for some pipework and a plunger cover
