Default Great Boxes

These adjustable boxes are a great thing for certain applications. I used them all above countertop in kitchen and am able to install outlets before back splash goes in

I like how they are adjustable but, they are flimsy and distort easily.

I use those all the time in kitchens.

The GC used spray foam for the whole house. The boxes were locked in place.

So much for trying.

They work well in bathrooms also.

I don't see the importance of installing devices before tile.

Your right no real importance just found it a little easier to install devices prior to cabinets going in also. Usually you are doing these devices last and with new cabinets, granite in you have to be a lot more careful with all new stuff around you plus I have a bad back so no bending over.

I used to use them in kitchens and bathrooms, nice for tile and backsplashes. Now I'm cheap, standard 18 os 22 cu nail ons. Longer yoke screws if neccessary.

Yes they are and there is a flaw with Carlon ones because if your using a decora device it forces it one way because of how the adjustment screw is placed so you can never center the yoke
