Heat for a 150SQF walk in closet
What would you resi guys recommend?
Thinking base board would pose too much danger since most people are........ not that conscience of their surroundings.
Builder claims too much involved with heat contractor resizing/engineering the add to the system.
This is above a 3 season barely insulated room.
He wants to go electric, I just have no idea and am leaning on your advice and experience.
Thanx.

Either the little in wall 1500 watt heater or I probably would go with cove heat above the door and away from the clothes shelving if possible.

I would go with cove heat or in-floor. I have seen too many people pile crap in front of baseboard heaters in closets and i think you will have the same problem with a forced air wall heater mounted down low.

Wall mount line voltage T-stat and an in-ceiling or high-wall mounted fan-forced heater. A clothes closet is always going to be full of clothes and bags other miscellaneous junk and nobody wants a heater anywhere near that. Floor heat is nice but the floor is going to be covered with stuff, and it won't make people feel warm quickly...I don't think most people spend long enough inside a clothes closet for a floor heat system to come up to temperature especially if it's going to lose radiated heat to the uninsulated room below.

Capt, why 2? Wouldn't one 1500 watt toekick heater take care of this room? 10 watts per sq ft is what I have always used. I guess 2 -750's would do a great job but isn't that overkill? IDK maybe less concentrated heat might be better.

I'm surprised he hasn't asked, if leaving the light on, would suffice?
