Default Help - gas fire fan won't start

Hi there,

Not an electrician but I'm hoping to get someone after the weekend (all busy)

I have a Gas Coonara - which is like a woodfire but with gas instead.

http://www.shamic.com.au/coonara/pro....asp?p=581&t=l
something similar to that.

Just recently the fire isn't starting up.

The fan goes for approx 1-2seconds and then cuts out and then trys again cuts out etc.

Q1 - is this an electrical thing? or gas thing?
Q2 - could it be fan problem?
Q3 - could it be the starter?

Any ideas would be appreciated because before we get someone in we would like to know wether it would be gas or electricity.

Thanks
