Question How do I get my electrician trainee card?

Hi My name's Chris and I start electrical school tomorrow. I was just wondering where I could apply for my electrician trainee card or what I have to do to get it. anyone? thanks!

In Washington you get it from the Department of Labor and Industries. It is different in every state though and I am not familiar with California's electrical licencing rules and practices.
