Default I have to buy an Amp meter

My company includes an Amp meter on the tool list. Thats it folks! No recommended functions or nothin. I plan on becoming a commercial electrician. Residential will be included, at least for now. I've already been installing Temp services for what I consider somewhat large developments. IE movie theaters, Condominiums, ... I've heard the term 600 Amp service.. What kind of Amp meter mimimums do I need to cover commercial work while in the field. Sorry if this has been asked 100 times. I'm looking at TPI---Test Products International as they have several nice features like a three year warranty that beats fluke all to he.. Thanks for any tips...

Fluke T5-H5-1AC-KIT is a real basic amp meter that should get you started. You WILL outgrow it in a few years and you will always want the new model. I have a pile of them. I still have and old Amprobe analog type amp meter and a Simpson analog multimeter that I bought a long time ago when I first started.
Here is a picture of the Beast of all Ampmeters that I have.

If I'm checking more than 100 amps, I generally use my Ideal 805 simply because I don't have anything in-between.

I've got an old Fluke 36 that I bought when I started in the trade, and it's never let me down. It's since been replaced, but anything from that line will serve you well for years to come.

Greenlee, Ideal and others are making Ammeters nowadays as well.
