Default Mc Or Romex Or Bx

Hi all. I am bidding a little job. It is in a 3 story building. And in this building it was originally wired in Romex and it also has BX and MC in it. What is the right cable to install and how do i know for next time? i don't really understand what the code book says.

Call a licensed electrician and I'm sure he could figure out the use group for you.
