Default New Job, service up grade.

Does anyone out there know of a good way to run an additional wire inside
a pre-existing conduit, 2" PVC with aluminum 2/0 three conductors.

But the big problem, is URD styple. This means all three individual
conductors are wrap around each other.

Total length is 50 Ft. And the conducit has only two P.V.C. sch. 40
elbows, and there are located closes to the Meter Socket. Conduit runs underneath concerte floor.

I personal believe I'll end up pulling out the existing service wires.

Pulling the existing wires is probably your best bet. I know of no way to get another conductor through a pipe already full of conductors.

What is the additional wire/circuit? You may be able to pull a string through with a vacuum to snake a wire but i dont think another wire will snake past the first elbow. As the others stated pulling all the wires would be you best bet. I would hope the elbows are belled too and not fittings, otherwise you may have a rough time pulling the ends past the lip of the fittings.

Did you mean 2 LB's ? If so , your probably going to have to go to 2 1/2" .

Default New job, Service up grade. This job is now finish.

My many thanks, to all who reply to my Thread.

I appreciated all your posted answers.

But I ended up pulling out old three wire cable.

Then I used an air compressor to blow out all the crap left over inside the
conduit which also got rid of any standing water inside conduit.

Then I wire lub a grease rage, and pull that thru to the end.

With the new four wires assembly, the two of us pull all four conductor
thru the 2" pipe. I gave a third guy the job of lubbing the conductor's
before they enter the conduit.

Everything went off better then I had anticipated. All four conductor
went thru the conduit, and around the two 2" 90 degree elbow, without
any problems.

Again I want to say thanks to all. THIS JOB IS NOW FINISHED, ALL IS WELL.
