Default No Ground? I Wonder why?

Found this after tracing bx wire back. Pretty!

Wow, I saw almost the twin to that in an attic Friday. Except it was a 14/2 no ground that was plugged in with a cord cap on the end into a receptacle. It was on a 20 amp circuit that was added to the kitchen countertop. Customer owned the house about 2 years and had a home inspection before buying it.

And half of these guys call out double tapped breaker as if the house was going to burn down. I guess double taps are easier to find.

Yep, and open grounds on a two wired circuit with brand new GFCI protection.
