Default north carolina limited license questions

Hey guys. Ive been thinking lately about sitting for my limited license. I've done some research as far as exam prep and code courses go and everyone advertises their program as the best. Id like some input from you guys that have experience with various programs.

Also if someone that has their nc license could please send me in the right direction to begin the process.

Thanks a lot guys

Guy named Rodreguez has a good class in Asheville and Hickory and other areas of the state.
I think he won best instructor last year with the board.

Type in NEC code made easy on a search and see if he doesn't come up.

I took his CE course and thought it very good. I don't think you will be dissatisfied with him.

I guess i should have gone more in depth in my original post

After reading it myself, it still didnt ask what I intended.

basically im asking about steps towards becoming licensed in NC....

NC BOE paperwork first?...then exam prep course?...

Exam prep before any other type of inquiring?

Obtaining experience requirements from employer before all?

Hope this helps someone help me.

Thanks alot guys

I would get all my ducks in a row and get setup for the exam then take the course so it is fresh in your mind. The paperwork may take some time. Basically you have to prove you have the experience before you can apply.

Your former or current employer has to fill out and sign the "Supervise and Direct" form to verify your years of employment.

If you give the Board a call, they are usually quite helpful, and can answer all your questions as well.

Follow the link Dennis gave you to the state. Call the number and order an exam package. It's free and is the first step. It has all the information you need.
