My wife and I recently bought a fixer-upper and almost have it complete. On the outside of the house, right beside a window is a screw type fuse box. The wiring comes from the inside panel through a couple outlets, through the outside box and continues the circuit, and we would like to remove the outside box because it is serving no purpose as far as we can tell, and it is unsightly. How would I go about this? Can I wire remove the box and wire nut the wires to complete the circuit? Any help would be appreciated.
ehh, thats not quite the answer I was looking for I can do everything around the house and was more or less looking for pointers on what to do, how to do it the correct way. If it appears that I cannot do it, then I will by all means hire an elecrtician.
