Default really quick question, i know nothing

ok all I know about resistors is what I remember from 6th grade tech, so I'm clues about them and I have a very quick question I'm trying to power two green 2.1 volt 25 miliamp leds from my car battery 12 volts, of course. I am wondering what resistor I use to get the volts down to 2.1 or since I'm using two in the same loop do I bring it down to 4.2 volts?? any help is greatly apperciated.
