Default resi kitchen recep question

So I'm the spark for a slum lord and a particular house needs 2 new circuits pulled for the kitchen and it just so happens that the washer and dryer is in the kitchen too! Not walled off or anything, just sitting there next to the kitchen table. Think the washer would qualify as a small appliance branch circuit? How do you define "small"?

Look in your pants.........

For laundry equipment you need to comply with 210.52

Quote:
(F) Laundry Areas. In dwelling units, at least one receptacle
outlet shall be installed for the laundry.
